I will take that everyday. Because when Manchester United beat Arsenal in 2017 when Arsenal had 33 shots, everybody called it a Jose masterclass or David De Gea can save the freaking Titanic. And then in 2022 against Liverpool, Real Madrid conceded around 25 shots and won 1-0 and everyone said Ancelotti masterclass and Courtois saved the day.
So yes, were Liverpool lucky? Absolutely. But can we also give credit to them for being resolute and still winning when not playing well at all? Yes as well. The team suffered and found a way. Arne Slot hopefully takes this and make sure that he is on point in the second leg.

PSG looked like a Klopp's Liverpool prime.Salah was checkmated. So was Jota and Diaz. McAllister and Gravenberg were largely contained. PSG will surely rain hell again in the second leg. If Liverpool can park the bus and hit them on a counter, they might be able to nail them again. The defense has to be tight and disciplined. PSG are way too fast. What a monster team.

I really thought Liverpool would win, but while they did WIN they lost in playing well it is just because of the goalkeeper that they won but they could not get near PSG's net at all

    Alisson:
    Saves: 9
    Goals prevented: 2.26
    Key Passes: 1
    Touches: 44

    Donnarumma:
    Saves: 0
    Goals prevented: -0.79
    Short pass accuracy: 100%
    Long ball accuracy: 100%

Alisson dominated the saving aspect, Donnarumma dominated the passing aspect

Pause the video at 4:31 at the precise millisecond that the ball loses contact with the passer's cleat leather and the PSG goalscorer has just fractionally gotten his heel back onside and the goal should have been ruled ONSIDE but they used ANIMATION like for tennis ball in or out line calls as opposed to actual VAR and got it wrong. I am a Liverpool fan but unfair call.

You showed the disallowed PSG goal around 5 times but not show why it was offside. That plus telling us the score before we even watch the highlights makes you a bush league channel

"Give me an example of someone playing like the rent is due".

Alisson has always been excellent but this was magnificent. Credit to PSG, they had our asses all game.
