Proof that Martial is a dud. Louis' injury record is almost just as bad, yet his goal and assists output is way higher than Martial's. The world may have forgotten him, but United fans haven't.

Fun fact: Saha was called up for the 2006 WC and played in both the quarter and semi finals but he got a yellow in both games causing him to miss the world cup final due to accumulating too many yellows

A supremely talented 9, I'm happy you made a video about him.

He had it all as a 9. And I really mean all. Outstanding pace, a super gifted athlete, good size and strength, very good in the air too, great leap. A brilliant, clinical finisher. All kinds of goals, brilliant shooting technique and power. Could score from outside of the box, wolleys etc. A very skilled player, very good technique, could always create space for himself one on one. Great positioning and intrlligence, he really knew how to act as a proper 9.

Even in his Everton days, when he was fit and in good form I thought he was a world class striker. Even after all the injury problems he still had all those qualites I mentioned and was scoring world class goals. But he just didn't play often enough because of the injuries and after a while his body just couldn't keep up.

And yeah, I agree he had the qualities to be considered one of the best 9s of that era if he wasn't injured so much.

His probably my one or top two in my MT rushmore man united (short stints) strikers.. On some days i still think his ahead of RVN (on some days), but his definitely miles ahead of RVP..
