Real sociedad Salzburg is very irrelevant for REAL SOCIEDAD cause the only thing that matters is who wins in Milan, it's only useful for who can allow themselves to draw

Gala may have what it takes, but United as of yesterday especially has been on a slight return so it'll be insanely difficult. Newcastle I think is pretty much done for, Dortmund could maybe come back but it's difficult & I think Milan has more of an advantage. It's a shame because if not for injuries & bans, Newcastle could've taken the reins & still made it to the second round, but I just don't see it with how they'll have to face PSG away. Feyenoord & Lazio brawling is going to be interesting, what first were interesting draws that I thought favored us, seemed to have come bite the former back in the rear. As had either Feyenoord drawn to Atletico at home as well, they would have been on the same page as Lazio but be in advantage over goal difference. Now it relies on them either drawing/winning against Atletico at home (which I believe if their form is peaking through could work), else that battle is already lost. It'd also help since Atletico would still have to definitively go all out against Lazio in the final matchday, which could potentially trash their g/d but it's certainly going to be a really tough group ending for all but Celtic. Arsenal & Lens are probably going to the next round, as at this point I see PSV only at most brawling for a Europa League spot (which funny enough they have to do against Sevilla,) and it gives me the same confidence as one would with trying to fight Real Madrid for a Champions League spot… Speaking of which, they and Napoli are probably going through no contest. Barca is definitely going through, but now is the question of who will follow along with them.

Either way even if this CL round is over, I'm pretty sure that some clubs will be saddened by not being able to have played at their best in the group stages. So as consolidation, I believe we'll have a Europa League that may honestly be even more interesting then the upcoming CL for the most part.
