Ceferin's credibility is disintegrating.. bad PR, turning the Super League "dub" into a massive L for himself.. didnt really even wait for the Super League to die down completely.. the idea and discontent is still so fresh, then you say this 😂

A country that half and quarter of it's population that doesn't understand how football works which they refer to as soccer. Some of them don't even know there own National men's team names, sometimes I wonder how UEFA operates .

This literally has no positive effect for the fans who want to go to the game. It's a European club competition, not an American one, not an african one not an asian one. There's plenty of great grounds in Europe. Why make it difficult for the vast majority of the matchday fans to travel a stupidly expensive price for a flight to another continent when you could keep the final close for all fans and make it affordable to watch their team go play in the final.

prices for flights are already overpriced in preparation for events like this. It becomes 10x more expensive when 95% of the fan have to fly to another continent to watch their team play.

I respect fans who come from across the globe to watch the team they support. However the journey of the champions league is symbolic of the home fans support.

Its the people their before minute 1 who should get to celebrate the triumph of ol big ears.

In US, football is a soccer because this country has its own football known as NFL.
And, as you may know, it's a propaganda for UEFA to make them united with FIFA for World Cup.

    Fun Fact:
"… this year (the final) is (in) Istanbul, 24 is London, and 25 is Munich…"
For English football, there might be a final between 2 Premier League clubs in Wembley, but not from the capital. They are absolutely trash right now.
Arsenal bottled up the title with a big defeat to Manchester City.
Chelsea and Spurs are, definitely, the spectators. They will not even be at the Champions League football.
Turkish football is obvious cause they are weak for winning such a big tournament.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich in 2025 will simply fall short just like what happened in 2012.

These greedy little cretins that run UEFA/FIFA are completely cash hungry and don’t care about the main aspect of football, which is the fans..!?
It’s no wonder why big European clubs wanted a super league (which I’m 100% against BTW), but taking the Champions League from the continent is ridiculous, especially since they have their own variant of the competition over in America!

How about they FOFF. It's as simple as that.

There's Copa Libertadores for S. America and CONCAFAF CL for Central and North America and UEFA CL for Europe.

I don't want to see Flamingo vs Boca in London and nor Real Madrid vs Juventus in NY.

As an American football fan, I would personally love this, BUT it's an absurd idea that tells every European supporter just how little UEFA cares about them. The lowest of money-grubbing ideas since the Super League.

Rather have football players earn a lot of money than have salary caps and owners getting more billions! Players have put work in for years also sacrificed a lot during their youth and their body everytime they play!

It’s bad enough when all the big teams play their pre-season tournaments abroad instead of arranging friendlies with smaller clubs in our own country who would be grateful of the revenue. A stupid idea that needs to go in the bin.
