Why would his politics have any bearing on his ability to do his job refereeing a football match anyway? Why does a person's view on jews and homosexuals, become the cornerstone of society?
The event Marciniak took part in wasn't a political event of any kind. He took part in a business conference on which he was a speaker to talk about his career. One of the founders of this conference is a member of a conservative party operating in Poland and also a lawyer and a business owner, and he was there as such, not as a politician. The accusations towards Marciniak are a disgrace. The lies that spread across Europen media about what happened are a disgrace too.

1. The event wasn't organized by a political party. A politician was one of organizers. It was a business event, and this politician is also known as a successful businessman.
2. The party has been accused of promoting sexiest, antisemitic and homofobic views, accused by its political opponents. The party capitalizes on these sentiments. Its leaders rather unskillful try to deny those allegations. Some watch their mouths, others don't, but the ones that don't are known for crazy sh** coming out of their mouths anyway.
3 The event wasn't associated with extreme far right movement. The leader in question is the leader of the libertarian part of the party, not the nationalist (It's a marriage of necessity). Although nationalist are usually referred as far right. If you call the nationalist wing of the party in question extreme far right, there's no vocabulary left to describe a true far right. The term was used by Marciniak himself, not sky sports though. If you're Polish and read his statement, you kind of realize how ridiculous the pressure must have been if he decided to say all these things, knowing how little they have in common with reality.
