Thanks for the kind words about Belgrade. You and dad are welcome too. I would just correct him that we are 21st out of 32 teams according to the UEFA ranking. He made a mistake because we were second from the back in the third pot, not the fourth pot.

7:23 Benfica finished above PSG – they drew on GD (9) and same goals for/against (16/7). Next comes away goals in the tie breaker and Benfica scored 6 on the final group stage day, so psg scored 6 away goals and benfica scored 9. Hence PSG drew Bayern in the RO16 – a team that won their group.

To be honest, AC Milan might be the favourite in that group of death, they had a very good transfer window. If we look at the first three domestic league games of each team, Milan are the most ready out of them. I know it's still very early season, but UCL first games are coming very soon anyway.

    Milan: 2-0 vs Bologna (A), 4-1 vs Torino (H), 2-1 vs Roma (A)
    Newcastle: 5-1 vs Aston Villa(H), 0-1 vs City (A), 1-2 vs Liverpool (H)
    PSG: 0-0 vs Lorient (H), 1-1 vs Toulouse (A), 3-1 vs Lens (H)
    Dortmund: 1-0 vs FC Cologne (H), 1-1 vs Bochum (A), 2-2 vs Heidemheim (H)

Newcastle faced more difficult teams there of course, I think they are very good but also just coming back to UCL and it's not always easy getting used to UCL's atmosphere. If they can perform as they do in Premier League, they have a chance to go through. PSG look shaky though we know they are a strong team, Dortmund is not convincing. Milan is the team to beat, seems like people forget already that they were semifinalists last year, and only getting stronger this year.
